Welcome to the Columbia, MO Bahá’í Faith webpage

We are the Bahá’í’s of Columbia, MO

A little about us:

We started as a group of four individuals in 1970, and are now a community of around 50.  In 1972, National, the governing body for the Bahá’í’s of the United States, recognized our community and we were incorporated at that time.

Look for information about the upcoming Twin Holy days celebrating the Bicentennial Birth of The Báb and the Birth of Bahá’u’lláh.

Two significant online event were held in late May 2021 to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the first Race Amity Conference.  The titles are all hyperlinked and will take you the recordings for each of these events.

The first event was titled “Advancing Together: Forging a Path Toward a Just, Inclusive and Unified Society.”  The link above will take you to the opening session and the four panels.  The Four Panels are:  Models of Truth, Healing and Transformation; Solidarity: A Path to a More Just and Inclusive Society; Change yourself to Change the World: Dignity Affirmation and Social Transformation; and The Means and Ends of Social Change.

The second event was organized by the National Center for Race Amity (NCRA) and was titled “Actualizing E Pluribus Unum Through ‘Race Amity and the Other Tradition.'”
